1. Who we are
CABVIX is a product of Securatech (TAS) Pty Ltd (ABN 54 634 501 358) (“CABVIX”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information through the CABVIX application (app.cabvix.com.au) and our website (cabvix.com.au). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and your organisation’s company profile (business name, ABN, contact details, logo), plus team members and their roles.
- Customer content: the records your organisation documents: clients, sites, rooms, racks, hardware, patching, power, outlets, photos and evidence, site plans, reports, labels and handover notes. This can include site contact names, phone numbers and emails.
- Access requests: when a contractor scans a rack sticker to request access, the name, company, phone number, work order and reason they give.
- Beta and website requests: the details you give when you request beta access or send product feedback.
- Billing and orders: plan, invoices and, for sticker orders, the delivery name, address and phone number. Card details are collected by Stripe and never reach us.
- Technical information: sign-in and security records, and, on the website only if you allow it, website statistics (see the Cookie Notice).
3. How we use it
To provide CABVIX: sign you in, store and show your organisation’s records to the people it authorises, process payments and orders, send the emails the service needs (sign-up and password reset, team invites, contractor access, beta approvals and order confirmations), provide support, keep the service secure, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer content or our accounting data to train AI models. We don’t send marketing emails. If we ever want to, we will ask first, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Where it is stored and who processes it
Customer records and account data are stored in a database in Sydney, Australia (Supabase, Sydney region). Files you upload, such as photos, plans and sticker artwork, are stored with Cloudflare. We use these service providers to run CABVIX:
- Supabase: database and sign-in (data stored in Sydney).
- Cloudflare: hosting the application and storing files, delivered through a global network.
- Stripe: card payments and subscriptions.
- Resend: delivering the emails CABVIX sends.
- Xero: our own accounting; paid CABVIX invoices are recorded there.
- A print partner: printing and shipping sticker orders, which receives the order artwork and delivery details.
- FormSubmit and, if you allow it, Google Analytics: website forms and optional website statistics.
Some of these providers are based overseas, including in the United States and New Zealand, and may process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers bound to protect it. We will give account holders at least 14 days’ notice, by email or in the app, before adding a new provider that stores customer records.
5. Security and retention
Each organisation’s data is kept separate and access is controlled by sign-in and roles. CABVIX keeps restore points of each workspace (up to 180) so changes can be undone.
We keep personal information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. If your organisation’s owner asks us to delete its workspace, we delete it, except where the law requires us to keep records, such as tax invoices.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing support@cabvix.com.au. We may need to verify who you are first. If the information is part of an organisation’s workspace, we may refer your request to that organisation.
If you have a privacy complaint, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
7. Changes
We will update this policy as CABVIX develops. Material changes will be shown by a new effective date, and we will tell account holders about significant changes by email or in the app.
