1. Who we are
CABVIX is a product of Securatech (TAS) Pty Ltd (ABN 54 634 501 358), a company registered in Tasmania, Australia (“CABVIX”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to your use of the CABVIX application at app.cabvix.com.au and any paid plan or order. Our website at cabvix.com.au is covered by the separate Website Terms of Use.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you use CABVIX for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.
2. What CABVIX is
CABVIX is software for documenting physical network infrastructure: clients, sites, rooms, racks, hardware, patching, power, structured cabling, outlets, labels, reports and related records.
CABVIX is a documentation tool only. It does not install, test, certify or inspect anything. You and your qualified staff and contractors remain responsible for the physical installation, electrical safety, cabling work, testing, certification and compliance with any law, licence condition or standard that applies to your work.
CABVIX does not state or imply that CABVIX, or any work documented in it, complies with or is certified to any standard (including AS/NZS 3080, AS 3085.1, AS/CA S009 or ACMA cabling rules). Standards and policies you enter are your own, and any reports or checks are aids to your own review.
3. Private beta
CABVIX is currently in private beta. Access is by approval, it is free, and nothing is charged. Features may change, be added or be removed during the beta, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We will tell you before any paid plan starts to apply to your organisation.
4. Accounts, roles and access
You need an account to use CABVIX. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly at support@cabvix.com.au if you think your account has been misused.
Each organisation has its own workspace. Its owner and admins decide who joins and with what role: admin, technician or viewer (read-only). Owners, admins and technicians use a paid seat; viewers do not.
Owners and admins can give a contractor time-limited access (from one hour to seven days) to specific racks, either directly or by approving a request made by scanning a rack’s QR sticker. You are responsible for who you grant access to and what you allow them to change.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Plans, inclusions and prices are shown on our pricing page and in the app. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. The current prices are: Standard $49 per month or $490 per year (3 users included); Pro $99 per month or $990 per year (5 users included); extra users $15 per month or $150 per year each. The Trial lasts 14 days, includes 2 users and is limited to 1 client, 2 sites and 5 racks.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never reach CABVIX. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until cancelled.
If you upgrade or add users, the pro-rata difference is charged straight away to your saved payment method. If you downgrade or remove users, the difference is credited against your next invoice.
Every invoice is an Australian tax invoice. We may change prices for future periods by giving you at least 30 days’ notice; the change applies from your next renewal after that notice.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Plans & Billing (Manage billing). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and does not renew after that. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund part periods.
Nothing you have documented is deleted when you change plan. If a plan ends and your workspace exceeds the Trial limits, you can still read and export your records but may not be able to add more until you choose a plan.
7. Printed stickers
On Standard and Pro you can order printed sticker sheets: $19.95 per A5 sheet plus $9.95 delivery per order within Australia, plus GST. Sheets are printed and shipped by a third-party print partner using the artwork and delivery details in your order.
Check your stickers before ordering; we print what you submit. If an order arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us within 14 days and we will reprint or refund it.
8. Your data
You own the records you put into CABVIX (“customer content”). You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide, secure and support CABVIX for you. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you add, including photos and information about other people such as site contacts.
CABVIX keeps restore points of your workspace (up to 180 per organisation) so changes and deletions can be undone. Owners and admins can download a full copy of the workspace, or any restore point, as a .json backup from Version history at any time. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse CABVIX: no attempts to access other organisations’ data, to break or overload the service, to reverse engineer it except where the law allows, to upload malicious code or unlawful content, or to use it to infringe anyone’s rights.
We may suspend access that puts the service, other customers or the public at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep CABVIX available and your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from installation, electrical or cabling work, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using CABVIX at any time. To have your organisation’s workspace deleted, the owner can email support@cabvix.com.au. We will delete it, except for records we must keep by law (for example tax invoices).
We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, after giving you notice and a reasonable chance to export your records where appropriate.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia, and the courts of Tasmania have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
